Who Are We?
We are WashU's premiere fencing club competing in all three weapons: Foil, Epee, and Saber! Our club consists of both USA Fencing-rated fencers and complete beginners, with all skill levels in between.
We welcome fencers of ALL skill levels! Many of our fencers started fencing during college!
We compete locally, regionally, and nationally as a member university of the United States Association of Collegiate Fencing Clubs (USACFC). We also compete regionally against and practice with schools such as SLU, Mizzou, Missouri S&T, UCM, and SIUE!
We allow any WashU-affiliated students/employees to join us at practice! That includes undergrads, grad students, faculty, and even alumni!
If you want to try out fencing or are experienced and would like to see the club, feel free to show up to any of our usual practices! Beginners are welcomed year-round. The building usually needs badge access, so you may need to wait a few minutes for someone to come in or out. Or, send us an instragram messege beforehand!
